Club Membership
Membership
The membership year runs from 1st November until 31st October the following year irrespective of when a member requests to join i.e. if you join in November, February or April the cost is the same. This encourages members to join for the full year to get maximum use out of their membership fee. The fee is reviewed on an annual basis and is dependent on club running costs.
"Please note Reduced Rates are now available for the remainder of the membership year. Please contact the Membership Secretary Alan Sherlock for details (email link can be found on the Committee page)"
Full details of membership can be found in the Membership Packs below:
Boat Storage
The club currently has storage spaces for boats outside. There is a waiting list for indoor storage. Details of costs can be found in the membership packs.
Club Rules
As a club, we aim to be fully inclusive and do our utmost to provide a safe environment to enjoy water-based activities. Our rules are designed to encourage not prevent members activities.
Everyone who joins the club as part of their membership must commit to several duties per year in order to provide the minimum required to run the club i.e. safety cover on the water, galley and racing. This is a requirement for membership. Any member who will not fulfil this commitment will be asked to leave the club.
All new members will be required to have safety boat training prior to being asked to assist the Officer of the Day. Please look at the training section of the website for details on these courses. If you have not carried out this training you will be asked to carry out galley duties instead.
